Jeff Clorley

Jeff started Jiu-Jitsu in 2006 after watching the early UFCs and finally finding a gym in Charlotte, NC. Over nearly two decades on the mats, he's finally figuring it out. Today, as a first-degree black belt, he continues to approach training with the same curiosity and dedication he had on day one, even though his body is constantly reminding him how old he is.

Jiu-Jitsu is also a family tradition in the Clorley household. Both of Jeff's children started training at just four years old and have become very accomplished grapplers while also wrestling for several local clubs and schools. His wife, Gretchen, began training in early 2024 and became obsessed with it, earning her blue belt in December 2025.

At 43, he continues to train, teach, and help develop students with the same enthusiasm that first brought him through the gym doors, committed to helping others get better.
